From download to your first hunt

  1. Create an account and character

    Register here and save the account number you receive. Use that number and your password to sign in, not your character name.

  2. Open the Hertmire client

    On Windows, run the installer. On Apple silicon Macs, extract the ZIP and open Hertmire. The required game data is included; you do not need to find separate files.

  3. Choose your character and enter Rookgaard

    The official client is configured for Hertmire. If you need to check connection settings: host hertmire.com, login port 7171, protocol 772. The gameplay follows the 7.6 era.

Something blocking you?

For an installation warning, missing game data, or a login error, ask in Discord #support. Include your operating system, client version, and the exact error. Never share your password.

If your operating system blocks the download, keep its protections enabled and ask for help before proceeding. You can compare the package SHA-256 below with your downloaded file.
